Basestation 5AC

BS9 5GHz 867Mbps ipMAX ac Gigabit Basestation is designed for privated ISP internet access and CCTV surveillance. Features with two RP- SMA connector enable it to pair with dish antenna or sector antenna to establish PtP backhaul connection and P2MP link. It adopts IP-COM TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) proprietary protocol–ipMAX to improve P2MP connectivity performance and capacity. Also it supports IP-COM proprietary setup technology–iLink, two devices or multi devices can be connect to each other automatically without login into Web UI. It is a ideal solution for rural and island area wireless access and CCTV surveillance transmission.

P2P connection throughput up to 450+Mbps

BS9 adopts of 11AC wave2 technology, it delivers 867Mbps speed rate at 5GHz radio. Come with Gigabit ethernet LAN port design , the maximum throughput test for PtP connection can be up to 450Mbps.

ipMAX–IP-COM TDMA proprietary protocol

ipMAX is IP-COM TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) proprietary protocol to improve performance and capacity for wireless P2MP outdoor application scenarios.

In outdoor enviroment, the CPE use highly directional antennas to connect to the Basestation from distances that can span several kilometers. the CPE can’t sense each other, they become “hidden nodes” and cannot coordinate access to the wireless channel. Thus the Basestation experiences frequent collisions from stations transmitting simultaneously. As the network scales, these collisions build up exponentially, increasing latency and lowering throughput.

With ipMAX, it coordinate all the data transmission and allocates time to active clients to provide greater noise immunity performance when compared to the conventional 802.11 CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Avoidance) protocol.

iLink–Auto-bridge technology enable it to easy setup

iLink is IP-COM proprietary auto-bridge technology, It enables the basestation or CPE in factory default settings connect to each other automaticaly after the device is powered on. It is very useful for the person who is not familiar with network knowledge, especilly for for CCTV surveillance transmission application.
